It
is with great regret that we must report the sudden and very sad death of
Glenda Heather of Kraken, Welcombe, on Tuesday 11th November.
Glenda and Eric moved to Welcombe in 2005 and have become active and valued
members of our community. Glenda's energetic commitment to our Community Shop
has been invaluable to both the initial process of opening the shop, and to
it's continued success. Her vivacious character, humour, friendliness and
efficiency have made her much loved and treasured as our Postmistress and
Shop Manager. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Providing a
wide range of goods with an emphasis on locally sourced produce.
The
shop is mainly staffed by volunteers.
